- Bob Ross wanted everyone to believe that they could be artists. Long before social media, Bob was using TV in interesting, interactive, and creative ways. On his own show he would solicit viewers ideas for paintings to create, and share images from fans that were making his paintings.*
- He made paintings within 30 minutes. Painted trees and wildlife. One of the most well-known American painters. He became popular again in the last few years as his show was available on Netflix for a time. You can watch episodes on his paintings on his Youtube channel.
